The Screen Components

User Interface Pieces and Parts

In this section we will explore the general makeup of your 3DWebWorldz screen. The options shown below will be outlined briefly in the A2Z Option Section below, with detailed instructions in the listed Help Document.

TOOLBARS
----------------------------------------

Top Toolbar: The term "Top Toolbar" refers to the toolbar across the top right of your screen.

• Contains all 3DWW options.
• Expanded by default.
• Toggle the arrow button on the right to expand /collapse.
• Members can customize whether toolbar is expanded/collapsed on region landing.

Bottom Toolbar: The term "Bottom Toolbar" refers to the customizable button bar at the bottom left of your screen.

• Default setting for guests and new users contain the most used buttons. 
• Expanded by default.
• Toggle the arrow button on the left to open/collapse.
• Members can customize whether toolbar is expanded/collapsed on region landing, as well as the buttons included.

**The above sample bottom toolbar has been customized.  Your bottom toolbar will look a bit different.

Side Vertical Toolbar: The term "Side Vertical toolbar" refers to the toolbar that expands up from the bottom right of your screen.

•  Contains easy access for customer support, social media, region rentals and more.
• Collapsed by default.
• Toggle the arrow button on the bottom right to open/collapse.
• Members can customize whether toolbar is expanded/collapsed on region landing.

WORLD ANNOUNCEMENTS
----------------------------------------

World announcements are provided by management as needed and signified by a purple box in the top left of your screen.

• Toggle the megaphone button on top toolbar to open/close.
  
  
• Visible in every region.
• Visible to all users by default.
• Members can customize visibility.

REGION ANNOUNCEMENTS
----------------------------------------

Region announcements provide messages/instructions specific to that region and offered by the region owner.  They are located in the top left of your screen.

• Toggle the megaphone button on top toolbar to open/close.
  
  
• Visible to all users by default.
• Members can customize visibility.

INWORLD vs. OVERLAYS
----------------------------------------

INWORLD = the space where your avatar walks.  If your avatar can touch it, it is "inworld". Using inworld fuctions requires Navigation Mode to be ON.

OVERLAY = toolbars, HUDS (heads up displays), region pop-ups and anything that lays on top of the screen. Interacton with overlays requires Navigation Mode to OFF.

Navigation Mode ON = Click inside the area where your avatar walks.

Navigation Mode OFF = Clicking escape will exit navigation mode and regain your cursor.

IF THINGS GET HINKY
----------------------------------------

Two options to choose from if things get hinky and you need to reset your page or give your browser a kick to reload the region.

• Reload World Button - reloads the region, keeping your avatar in the spot where it stands.
  
  
  
• Reload the Browser Page - Reloads the region, putting your avatar back at the region landing point. Use the reload page button provided by the web browser you are currently using.
